        iii. Is the Lord disciplining you this morning?  If so, what area of your life is in need of repentance?

  1. He is faithful in the midst of his people’s faithlessness.
  2. God is faithful (v3)
  3.   God’s people fail to return covenantal faithfulness to him (v4)
  4. He offers us the chance to relate to him through a life-giving relationship and not through vain and dead religious rituals.
  5. God does not desire mere religious transaction
  6. God desires genuine religious action that is the result of love for him
