In response to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), the Missions Team aids missionaries through prayer, encouragement, support, and educating the congregation.
Our Denomination has an international missions agency, World Witness, and a local Church planting initiative known as Outreach North America. Member churches often "adopt" certain missionaries to support directly as well as through their respective agencies, especially if their home church is your home church.
Because of the sensitive nature of the ministries of some of our missionaries, and as some are in lands hostile to the freedom found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we do not name them directly, but fields impacted via the direct support of our missionaries include the United States, Kenya, East Asia and Africa.
