A Tale of Two Redeemers

June 13, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Brian Howard

Passage: Ruth 4:1-12

Ruth 4 is also a “tale of two redeemers.” We have Boaz on the one hand and a nameless redeemer on the other. This comparison forms our framework for 5 major themes.

  1.  A________ vs. I__________(4:1)
    1. Romans 5:8…

  2. I_________ Vs. I__________ - A (4:3-4)

  3. I_________ Vs. I__________ - B (4:5-6)

    1. Do you have any Immediate Investment vs. Kingdom Decisions to make?
  4. A Redeemer for the P________ (v. 9-10)

  5.  A Redeemer for the P________ (v. 11-12)
    1. 2 Corinthians 9:8-12…
    2. John 3:16…
    3. Revelation 5:9...

Series Information

The Book of Ruth can be studied from many angles: Love story, Life story, Survival story, and more. Join us as we look at Christ's work of redemption, foreshadowed in the richness of Boaz's love, Ruth's faithfulness, and Naomi's slow journey to joy. We'll find a bit of ourselves on the long walk from Moab to Bethlehem and more importantly, the hope of Jesus for our journey today.
