Jodi Farmer

Adams Farm Christian Preschool Director

Jodi Farmer was born and grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She attended a vibrant, mission oriented church where she accepted The Lord as her Savior on Palm Sunday,  1972. She attended college at Pennsylvania State University.  In the Happy Valley, she earned a B.S. and M.Ed. in education and met her wonderful husband, Douglas. They have two daughters. Ashley is married to Brandon Hounshell and are parents of grandson, Jack. Emily is married to Brian Mack and are members at Adams Farm Community Church. Her mother, Florence Bingaman, serves as a deacon at AFCC. Jodi has served at Adams Farm Community Church for 14 years. She has a passion for teaching children about Jesus.
Jodi enjoys teaching the Pre-K class, serving in BSF leadership, running and gardening.

Marlene Henderson
Church Secretary

Marlene was born in Florida and moved to NY (Albany area) in 7th grade.  She met her husband, Steve, in church Youth Group and married him 3 ½ years later on Christmas Day, 1972. They have three grown children.  Sons AJ and Eric remain in upstate NY.  Daughter, Jennifer, lives in High Point and teaches at Ragsdale High School.  Marlene and Steve moved to Greensboro from Clifton Park, NY in December 2010. They are members of Lawndale Baptist Church.
Marlene attended Texas Christian University and received a BS in Business Management/Accounting from Central Connecticut State College.  She worked in Accounting and Finance for 7 years, until the birth of her first child.  She was a stay at home mom for 16 years.  When re-entering the job market, she chose to switch to a more family friendly career path and became a part-time secretary at the church she attended with her family.  She was there for most of ten years before moving South.
