AFCC First Touch Ministry Are you outgoing and love to meet other people? You need to be a part of the team that creates our first touch when people come to AFCC. That is why we call this the First Touch Ministry. This team is the first face that new people see when they come to our church. Whether it is greeting or ushering, this team helps set the tone for the day’s experience. This is a valuable part of the church. Plus, it offers members an opportunity to give by serving the church. Sanctuary Flowers To honor our Lord during our worship service, please consider picking a Sunday to bring fresh flowers for the Sanctuary. They can be from your garden or your favorite florist and can be in remembrance/honor of someone special or in celebration of a special occasion. Save the Date - CROP Hunger Walk - Sunday, October 15
October 15, at First National Bank Field in downtown Greensboro Greensboro Urban Ministry partners with Church World Service and volunteers on the annual CROP Hunger Walk, and 25% of all funds raised stay here inour community. Funds support GUM's Potter's House Community Kitchen, where staff and volunteers provide a meal to 400 or more men, women and families with children every day.
