Beginning September 6
This study will explore the pattern of prayer Jesus gave to His disciples and examine how we can follow that pattern and put it into practice in our lives. As you study “The Lord’s Prayer” in Matthew 6, and begin to implement the teaching of our Lord in your own life, you’ll find that you know God better, and you will become more thankful for what He has done. You will see God’s power at work in your life as you learn as never before what a remarkable God we serve. All ladies are welcome to join us at Kathy Albert's home.  Please call Florence Bingaman or Jodi Farmer for more information.

Take a Seat
In order for the worship hour to run smoothly and without too much distraction, the Worship Team and First Touch Ministry would like for church members to leave the last row of each of the middle sections open for late comers. Thank you for your support.

AFCC First Touch Ministry
Are you outgoing and love to meet other people?  You need to be a part of the team that creates our first touch when people come to AFCC.  That is why we call this the First Touch Ministry.  This team is the first face that new people see when they come to our church.  Whether it is greeting or ushering, this team helps set the tone for the day’s experience.  This is a valuable part of the church.  Plus, it offers members an opportunity to give by serving the church.  If you are interested in being part of First Touch Ministry, contact Marilyn Jones or John Kimmons.

God at Work in His People
If you would like to give public testimony to how God has been faithfully working in your life, please contact one of the church elders.

Sanctuary Flowers
To honor our Lord during our worship service, please consider picking a Sunday to bring fresh flowers for the Sanctuary. They can be from your garden or your favorite florist and can be in remembrance/honor of someone special or in celebration of a special occasion. A sign-up sheet is at the Welcome table in the Narthex. (Vases are available.)
