October: Zig Zag Zone God can do anything and God loves us. That means we have a God who is able and eager to help when we ask Him. So, whenever there's a task to be done, just remember God can help you.
October 8: David is strong in battle - 1 Samuel 18:7, 12-14
Bottom Line: God can help me.
October: Use It or Lose It (Don't Waste What You've Got) The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it. So, whatever we have really belongs to God. That's why stewardship is a response to the Character of God. Because we know everything belongs to God, WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF GOD'S STUFF. And one of the best ways to take care of God's stuff is by using it the way you think God would want it to be used.
October 8: Teach us to number our days (Psalm 90:12 NIV)
Bottom Line: Use your time wisely
Please come to our 59:33 prayer sessions on Wednesday nights. All are invited to join us as we have a short Bible Study and bring the praises and concerns of our church family before the throne of God. We will begin at 6:30 SHARP and end at 7:29:33 SHARP.
Men's Tuesday Morning Bible Study Tuesdays, 6:30 AM, at the church Men, join us as we study God's Word together. There is no better way to start your day! Contact John KImmons with questions.
All women are invited to join in the Bible Study and fellowship at Marie Hunkele's home. Our new Bible study is Old Testament Characters. We will dig into the lives of Jonah, Abraham, Moses and others, learning how to sustain in pain, hear God's voice, and follow God's call in our lives. Open to all women and there's room for you so come join us! Call Carol Kimmons for details.
MONDAY EVENING Women's Bible Studyat the Lifehouse Monday evenings, 6:30 PM All women are invited to join us as we study God's Word and enjoy fellowship with each other. This Fall, we will be using the "Proven" Study by Jennie Allen to look at the Gospel of John. Call Joyce Snyder with questions.
"Too many of us walk through life feeling like we don't measure up—that if we could only work harder or perform better, we would be enough. But the truth is, we will never be enough. And thankfully, we don't have to be.
In this study, Jennie Allen walks us through key passages in the Book of John to show us that Jesus is enough. Realize we don't have to prove anything because Jesus has proven everything."
WEDNESDAY EVENING Women's Bible Study Wednesday evenings, 6-8 PM
This study will explore the pattern of prayer Jesus gave to His disciples and examine how we can follow that pattern and put it into practice in our lives. As you study “The Lord’s Prayer” in Matthew 6, and begin to implement the teaching of our Lord in your own life, you’ll find that you know God better, and you will become more thankful for what He has done. You will see God’s power at work in your life as you learn as never before what a remarkable God we serve. All ladies are welcome to join us at Kathy Albert's home. Please call Florence Bingaman or Jodi Farmer for more information.

AFCC First Touch Ministry Are you outgoing and love to meet other people? You need to be a part of the team that creates our first touch when people come to AFCC. That is why we call this the First Touch Ministry. This team is the first face that new people see when they come to our church. Whether it is greeting or ushering, this team helps set the tone for the day’s experience. This is a valuable part of the church. Plus, it offers members an opportunity to give by serving the church. If you are interested in being part of First Touch Ministry, contact Marilyn Jones or John Kimmons.
God at Work in His People If you would like to give public testimony to how God has been faithfully working in your life, please contact one of the church elders.

They can be from your garden or your favorite florist and can be in remembrance/honor of someone special or in celebration of a special occasion.
