Background:

Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born on Eglin Air Force in Florida, 1954. Her parents moved to Greensboro after their service ended in the Air Force. Kay grew up here and graduated from Page High School in 1972. She attended UNC Chapel Hill for 2 years as a music major and then transferred to Florida State University for the next 2 years. Kay received my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy in May 1977 and moved to Raleigh. Kay went back to school at NC State in accounting and sat for the CPA exam in 1984. She received her CPA license in 1986.

Mrs. Fitzpatrick has worked at Sedgefield Presbyterian Church as the Treasurer (volunteer) and as an Elder. Shee was members there for 12 years.

She has been married to Stuart Fitzpatrick for 27 years. They have 2 children, Katherine 19 and Cameron 15.

Stuart and Kay have been excited about the strength of The Word that comes from the pulpit at AFCC. "That's what drew us to this body and what keeps us here."
